ADULT DOG CLASSES

These classes are for dogs over 20 weeks of age.

Pet Dog Manners 1

Basic obedience and manners for dogs over five months of age.
Attention work, Sit/Down/Stand, Come, Stay, Loose Leash Walking, Leadership,
Polite Greetings, Preventing Problem Behaviours and more.
This class is taught on leash.

Classes at the View Royal Community Hall are one hour in length.
Cost: $175 plus HST/six one-hour sessions

Classes at the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre are 45 minutes in length.

Pet Dog Manners 2

Increasing the fluency of skills learned in  Pet Dog Manners 1.
Introduction to heeling, Rally and the Canine Good Neighbour program.
We will start adding distance, duration and distractions to the skills learned
in  Pet Dog Manners Level 1.
Prerequisite: Pet Dog Manners 1 with Canine Chaos
This class is taught at the View Royal Community Hall.
Cost: $175 plus HST/six one-hour sessions

Rally Obedience

Rally is a fun, rapidly growing new team sport open to dogs of any size or breed.
Dogs and handlers navigate a course with numbered signs indicating obedience exercises to perform. Positive reinforcement is used.
Dogs must not be aggressive to other dogs or people to participate in this class.

Prerequisite: Puppy Level 1 or Pet Dog Manners 1 with Canine Chaos

This class is  offered through the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre.
The location for the next session will be Shoreline Middle School.
